3 Steps to Report a Missing Child

Step 1: Call 911

Call 911 first. 911 is the nationwide emergency phone number that communicates with law enforcement agencies. Calling 911 is the best first step in recovering your missing child.

Tell the 911 operator that your child is registered with KidSave and that their missing child poster and pertinent information will be activated shortly on www.kidsave.com.KidSave is not a law enforcement agency.

Step 2: Call KidSave

After completing your call to 911, please call KidSave at 800-SAVE-4-ME (800-728-3463). Provide the operator with all the information you can about the incident as they guide you through the process. The operator will activate the missing child poster on our website. Notifications are dispersed upon confirmation of a Police Report.

Step 3: Recovery of a Missing Child

We hope your child is recovered quickly. However, if time passes, please return to www.kidsave.com or call KidSave at 800-SAVE-4-ME (800-728-3463) to update the missing child incident report with any new information.

When your child is recovered, please call KidSave at 800-SAVE-4-ME (800-728-3463) to report the recovery and close out the missing child incident.
